COOPERAREA MILITARĂ DINTRE ROMÂNIA ȘI FEDERAȚIA RUSĂ
DEFENSE COOPERATION BETWEEN ROMANIA AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Summary/Abstract: Romania and the Russian Federation are sharing a common geopolitical space where security through cooperation is becoming an important tool in contributing to the consolidation of a stable and secure environment. Defense cooperation, either developed in a bilateral framework in a multinational one, could add, besides the political and economic cooperation, supplemental benefits to a functional and pragmatic bilateral cooperation relationship. Our main objective related to the military defense cooperation between the two countries is to gradually rebuild the confidence, the common trust, the transparency and the predictability in order to consolidate our contribution to the security of the European continent as a whole.
