Summary/Abstract: In this autobiographical essay the autor tells the story of her Grandfather, Reverend Joseph Kaingba, who was born at the beginning of the 20th century the son of a Manchurian farmer, and through a series of extraordinary events became a Polish Catholic priest, and had an illegitimate child – her father.
