Summary/Abstract: In the current context characterized by constant endeavors for creating a stable and secure international environment, due to certain events that generated significant political, social and economic changes - both globally and regionally, locally, nationally - it was necessary for Romania to reconsider the concept of security and the ways through which it promotes its fundamental interests given the evolution of European and Euro-Atlantic security system.
