Summary/Abstract: The text of the encyclical is primarily intended for people of good will. True human development has a moral character. Pope Francis is particularly sensitive to the issue of social justice both within societies and in the international dimension. Laudato si’ proposes a return to the integral ecology. Ecology in relationships with people – with ourselves and with others – means the need to appeal to the moral law inscribed in human nature.
