Summary/Abstract: The whole history of Belarus-West relations can be represented by a sinusoid. Relations get warmer when Minsk liberalises domestic policy. Then the people take to the streets in protest. This, in turn, sparks increased repressions and a turn away from the West. However, in the context of the EuroMaidan and Russian aggression in Ukraine, the question now is how Belarus will react?
