The National Security Council

Summary/Abstract: Analysis of legal regulations and practice of action of National Security Counsil are a subject of the article in Poland. Presenting definitional and connected matters is beginning deliberations from constitutionalization of this state agency. Next a make-up of the National Security Counsil, an operating mode and her entitlements were discussed. In the next section functioning of similar organs was portrayed in other states: the USA, Great Britain, Czechs and Russia and of the UN Security Council. in the end a sense of granting this body the constitutional rank in Poland was undermined.
