Changes in Ukrainian Law in the context of coming into force of the Association Agreement with the European Union

Summary/Abstract: Association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union was another step towards the European integration of Ukraine. The aim of the author is to present and analyze the legislative changes, which were needed to sigh association agreement between Ukraine and the EU. A very important issue was the problem of defining the basic requirements of the EU, on changes in the law of Ukraine. It is necessary to define which of the EU requirements relating to Ukrainian law have been already made, which have been made only partly and which have not been made at all. Changes of certain acts and the adoption of new legislation have led to part harmonization of the Ukrainian law with the European. The most significant changes relate to the electoral law and criminal of Ukraine
