The motives for its adoption are essentially twofold. Firstly – to realize that the economic analysis of law is a kind of complement to mainstream economics. What is the most important aspect here is that it is not meant to serve as its replacement. Secondly – the development of Economics caused extending the use of its tools beyond the traditional domain, including money market system, as well as social behaviour with non-market feature. Reflections on relationships occurring between the law and the economy has long been the subject of numerous discussions, which are a manifestation of the economy entering into other sciences.
