Summary/Abstract: Early warning systems application may help managers obtaining warning information regarding both threats from surrounding and company’s financial standing. The ability of fast reaction to signals coming from the early warning systems enables a company to continue business activity and prevents it from bankruptcy. The paper contains the meaning and tasks of early warning systems as well as the relation to the aims of strategic controlling in the limelight of literature and computer software analysis.
