The Offence of Theft Accompanied by Burglary Seen from the Comparative Law Point of View

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the paper is the offence of theft accompanied by burglary seen from the comparative law point of view. First the Authors describe synthetically this offence in the Polish system of criminal law. Then they describe the solutions functioning in the Swiss Criminal Code and they analyse this offence in the legal systems of the Nordic states. Next the discussion concentrates on theft accompanied by burglary in the criminal codes of Slovakia, Germany and in chosen Balkan states. Moreover, the Authors describe the solutions functioning in the states that used to be a part of the former Soviet Union, as well as in the British system. Finally statistical data referring to the discussed offence are presented.
