Mattei Dogan and the Mixed Economy – the Critique of the Western Neocorporatism

Summary/Abstract: In their book Mattei Dogan and Dominique Pelassy carefully scrutinize the problem of neocorporatism in Western Europe. The social problem of the falling of the welfare state goes together with this strange mixture between the private and the state interests. Squeezed among them, the public interest, the “citizen” goes somehow wrong. In this paper we have tried to state the rationale of such a process, of the neocorporative “mixed economy”.
