Summary/Abstract: The current text is dedicated to the use and benefits of mathematics for the professional development of students. Shown are the place and the role of the 3D IT models of multistaged sections, applicable in the stereometry lessons. The article refers to the development of the spatial thinking in the stereometry class in 11th grade students through the use of dynamic computer drawings. There are proven the benefits of using IT technologies for presenting animated drawings, which increase the visibility in comparison with the manual made drawings on the board. To illustrate the ideas are used real teaching examples.
