Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article are the waqfnamas dated in different time periods in history, mostly from the area of Bihać. Considering the institutional interconnection such documents were written in a similar form in other cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The form, conditions, style and the content of waqfnama was changing with time which resulted in diminishing interest for establishing new waqfs. During the research for this paper we have used original documents, waqfnamas and waqfiyas from the private archive of Sadik ef. Ribić and some from the archive of Una-Sana Canton. For these we used abbreviations ASR and USK in the references and footnotes. We also used some normative acts and some texts from the periodicals of the Islamic Community.
