Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the phenomenology and the semantics of the term blessings as given within the constitutive sources of Islam. Using the method of textual analysis, the author is noticing how the term blessing is logically and inseparably connected to the term value throughout a number of the Qur’anic ayats. Stressing upon the universal values in Islam that are also recognized by other legislations in all the civilized societies, the author critically analyzing new humanistic and postmodern projects of establishing new systems of values.
