Summary/Abstract: The subject of this work is the influence of memoreate, oral, folk and demonological traditions on F/SF/H authors from Velika Plana and its surroundings. The work points to the most significant stages of inception and development of fantastic literature in Serbia, besides presenting the survey of definitions, terms and concepts relevant for the formation of local F/SF/H literary scene. The aim of the paper is to present the literary works of authors living in Velika Plana municipality inspired by local folk traditions, as well as to inspire debates on their positioning in the broader spatio-generic frameworks.
