Summary/Abstract: The article is a review of the national literature devoted to the issue of cultural security in determining the scope of meaning of the term. Cultural security is rarely the subject of research in the studies of national security. However, the contemporary threats justify dealing with this problem. Discussing the term cultural security, the author emphasizes the value of semantic concepts such as "culture", "cultural identity" and recognizes the impact of the so-called.
