The usage of cluster analysis to classification of districts of podkarpackie voivodeship according to selected socio-economic development indicators

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to determine the level of diversification of districts in Podkarpackie Voivodeship in terms of selected socio-economic development indicators. There will be used the data from the Regional Data Bank of the Central Statistical Office. By means of chosen methods of cluster analysis the classification of districts of Podkarpackie Voivodeship will be achieved. It will enable to analyse the means of selected indicators according to particular clusters. Obtained results will allow the assessment of districts in Podkarpackie Voivodeship in terms of the level of socio-economic development.
