Summary/Abstract: Basic concepts of Linear algebra are presented in the present note with application in Economics. The aim is to provoke students in searching the applied character of basic mathematical notions and facilitate them in studying various applied disciplines where certain mathematical knowledge and skills are needed. An elementary example of the Leontiev model is presented, which in the general case describes relations between economic branches by means of systems of linear algebraic equations.
