Summary/Abstract: The article presents statistical data on prevalence ratio of diabetes and impaired glucosetolerance, diabetes mortality according to sex and age intervals, and diabetes expenditure ratio.European Union countries are compared, with special attention paid to Poland. Conclusionabout growing tendency of diabetic issues in present-day societies are made.
