The Sacrum and the Profanum in Life of the Present Rural Occupants

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the problems of life of rural local community in context of spheres secular and sacred. Conclusions problems this was illustrated with own conducted in 2006 year investigations on rural terrains of commune Trzebinia (Małopolska). In mentality of former rural population of sphere the sacrum and the profanum alternated mutually. A man was the part of world created by God and he be subject to by Him rights settled. It presents the system of value runs away from traditional. He undergoes the same the transformations how the remaining areas of a social and economic life. Investigations presents a large potential of rural community. This potential concerns spheres sacrum and profanum, which, though in lower degree how long ago, they penetrate still and they replenish mutually.
