The light of the problem of continuity of the Polish State – publication of Official Journals issued by Polish authorities in exile in the years 1939–1990:

Summary/Abstract: Polish authorities in exile issued legal acts which had been published in the “Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland” and the “Monitor Polski”. The Official Gazette of the Republic of Poland”. However, contemporary legal acts are issued by those authorities in the form of annexes or selections of documents. According to the Author, publication of legislative achievements of state authorities in exile connects the system of a Polish State, which functioned in exile on the legal basis of Constitution of 23rd April 1935, with the contemporary legal system, thus it constitutes preservation of continuity of a Polish State.
