Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the issue of institutional analysis as one of the research areas of various types of social order and institutional change. It draws attention to the researchers involved in the process of institutionalization and development of practical recommendations to evaluate the functioning of the various social and political institutions. The author stresses an urgent need for a “revitalization” of institutional analysis, which forms an important and current cognitive perspective for assessing the social order in post-industrial society.
