Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on the topic of Unitarianism. Since the notion is unknown for most people, the first pages of the thesis are devoted to identification of the word and its meaning. Substantial part of the work is focused regionally, namely on the Unitarian congregation in Pilsen. Its main task is to give a complete description of the development of Unitarianism in Western Bohemia, which is carried out on the basis of official documents, correspondence of churchmen, and other contemporary materials, provided by the archives of the Prague Unitarian Congregation and the Unitarian Congregation in Pilsen. The study also deals with their publishing activities over the years 1992 to present, which is again built using official archival documents. The last pages are devoted to PhDr. Jiřina Chudková (laic churchwoman) and Rev. ThMgr. Luděk Pivoňka (the present churchman), two people essential to the Unitarian Congregation in Pilsen.
