Social Studies of Technology and Serbian University Curricula

Summary/Abstract: Modern knowledge based society with its sustainable development pathos requires full incorporation of technology into public policies, and full understanding of its social, political, economic and ecological consequences. The institutions of higher education, therefore, must be open to accept and to support the entry of the social studies of technology in their curricula. This is not the case with Serbian universities, and the author offers arguments in favour of the change.
