Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to compare the characteristics of culture developed inside industrial organizations with the characteristics of organizational culture in the sphere of agriculture. The results of the empirical research are presented; the dana have been collected by using multiple case method, questionnaire and structured interview. The authors conclude that the characteristics of national culture, historical factors and numerous factors of organizational environment must be taken into consideration when explaining the similarities and differences between organizational culture in Serbian industry and agriculture.
