Summary/Abstract: This contribution tries to approximate everyday life, working and living conditions before 1989 in the eastern Slovakia using oral history method. The main attention is devoted to the events of November 1989, its progression and reflexion. This paper focuses on the Slovak nation, which is an integral part of Czechoslovak history. The research deals with views, opinions and attitudes of Eastern Slovaks in November 1989.
