Summary/Abstract: Article tracks activities of unofficial Polish Army “Brygada Świętokrzyszka“ at the end of the Second World War, and particularly its reflection in memories. Army “Brygada Świętokrzyszka“ intervened in a concentration camp Holysov even a few hours before the arrival of Allied troops and liberated the prisoners interned here. There are difference portraits of Polish in memories, it is an another proof of its controversity.
