Summary/Abstract: The topic of this study consists of general morality, family order and the process of reflection to court for the sexual crimes which is associated with public order. These crimes are reflected to court by the victims themselves, on the other hand by the peasant, residents and local authorities. This process can be ideally described by use of the examples of the court records. For this reason, the main source of this study is the court records of Amasya which dated between 1624 and 1650.
