Summary/Abstract: Health services constituted such a critical area like a second battlefield during the Çanakkale Battles. Thanks to the devoted efforts of the health institutions along the battles, which lasted for 8,5 months, no epidemic broke out. Moreover, a very low rate of the wounded soldier died, which was almost a miracle. In this context, the wounding and illnesses as well as health institutions in Çanakkale front, the transportation of the wounded and patients, the health services in adjacent areas of Rumelia, Anatolia, İstanbul, Marmara, Aegean and other regions will be discussed in consequence. Handing down the names of doctors, nurses and discharging nurses who gave a health service devotedly in the frontline, in near and distant hospitals under hard conditions to the next generations, and narrating the story of those nameless heroes, who claimed nothing, to the next generations, is a duty of loyalty for us against them. Furthermore, this study is also an emphasis that the Turks not only had a victory in the war against strong countries but they also won the second level of the war, carried out behind the frontline.
