Summary/Abstract: The following methodological paper is focused on the practical application of the method and its practical use in the higher degree of elementary schools. As an introduction the practical part begins by with the chapter about the possibilities of oral history usage ing in the elementary schools with its general advantages and disadvantages. The following two projects are offering offer the way how to possibly use the method possibly. The Project No.1 was implicated at school to verify its effectiveness and the results that are reflected in the next chapter. The project is founded basically on the work with work sheet and video tape with the evidence of a really emotionally strong moment of the Czech history – narrator’s memories for the Lidice´s holocaust and cremation. The Project No. 2 offers a way of use of the oral history by the direct contact with the narrator. The project is called “The town Plzeň in the past and nowadays“. The task of scholars is to communicate with the public narrators and collect as much as possible information/memories about the past face of Plzeň as possible to have an evidence for the comparison ng. The practical part continues by a research about the nowadays current use of the method by elementary school teachers with the particular results. The teachers react for 5 simple questions about the oral history and evaluate its advantages and disadvantages coming from the practical experience. In conclusion there were compared the setted goals compared with the accomplished information and results to generalize the outcome as a whole.
