Summary/Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to analyze opinions’ of middle school teachers, who participated in a course about use of the history of mathematics in teaching, on utilizing of life stories of ancient mathematicians in classes during course program and also to analyze teachers’ situation of including these stories in classes. The data were acquired through semi-structured interviews and non-structured observations in this research where case study method was used. The data were subjected to descriptive and content analysis then presented in tables. As a result of the study, an increase was observed at the end of the course in terms of teachers’ positive opinions on use of ancient mathematicians’ life stories in classes and also teachers’ inclusion of these stories into classes increased compared to before starting of the course. Basing on the results of the study, it was recommended other teachers to use life stories of ancient mathematicians in classes.
