Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study was the realism movement in the properties, methods, and to introduce the types. At the same time involved in this movement and one of the most important figures of world literature to reveal the location of Erich Maria Remarque's realism. Remarque, has committed the biggest crisis of the modern era and the tragedy. War and genocide into exile in his own country at the age of tragedy in his own country but working in the most realistic manner Remarque works, works of this tragedy has left as a legacy to humanity he experienced one more favor. In this context, a closer look in to the author's works of art and tradition penned by the author in question is though to be important to mention where his standing in the tradition of art.
