A Fantastic Analysis On Bariş Müstecaplioğlu's Şamanlar Diyari Series

Summary/Abstract: Even if boundaries vary as a literary genre fantastic which leads readers to a mysterious world with the atmosphere between reality and fiction, has an adventure based on the past in Turkish Literature. But fantastic which rules the fiction world entirely in the meaning of literary genre and drawn by western theorists, has showed an increase in written narratives, especially in the last two decades. Barış Müstecaplıoğlu who gives successful samples of this genre, made a name for himself with prior Perg Efsaneleri afterwards Şamanlar Diyarı series. Şamanlar Diyarı series which is set as a subject of study, consists of three books: Şamanlar Diyarı, Keşifler Zamanı, Özgürlük Uğruna. With featuring of many characteristics of fantastic genre and especially with revealing the stress of indecision, fantastic can heightened acceleration of narrations in Turkish Literature there is no study based on these novel series yet in this context. The aim of this article is to make firm corporations which novels move to central while they form fantastic world examining the novel series which is talked about in the direction of fantastic genre’s essential principles.
