Real Estate Market of Housing Analysis Using Methods GIS

Summary/Abstract: An important factor in the analysis of the housing market is the location. However,generally for the analysis of this factor aren’t used methods of spatial analysis, is why thepotential location of the property can’t be fully utilized. The aim of the article is a presentationof functionality of geographic information systems (GIS) in the analysis of the realestate market. This article presents methods of presentation and analysis of data from thereal estate market. Also presents an example of using methods of spatial analysis in GISstudy of real estate market downtown of Bytom. The study was based on the recognition oflocal determinants presented in the form of spatial variables affecting the average prices ofreal estate (zł/m2).
