Summary/Abstract: Article aim: an analysis of the phenomenon of students’ loyalty with a particular consideration of its specificity, generated benefits for the university and the selected elements of the methodology of surveying it. Type of the used research methodology/approach: the surveys of students’ loyalty, which methodology is one of thematic areas of this article, are carried out by the author periodically, by the method of auditorium questionnaire. In her article, the author paid attention to the methodology of surveying students’ loyalty, including related to the specific object – the line. The surveys were carried out among students of the Faculty of Management of the Rzeszow University of Technology in 2014. Main research/analyses findings: an effect of the implemented research is identification of the level of students’ satisfaction with the chosen line, the level of their loyalty in the area of internal mechanisms of loyalty and in the behavioural sphere as well as the key elements of the decision-making process related to the line selection. Practical implications: the practical aspect of the article is expressed in the possibilities to use the author’s experience and methodological proposals in students’ loyalty research as well as, owing to the presentation of possible benefits to be received from such a research, in popularisation thereof. Social implications: popularisation of research being the subject of the article may ease the adjustment of curricula, particularly lines and other aspects of educational services of universities to the students’ expectations.
