Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine how the women and men in Duzce understand the women’s situations in terms of personal right and freedom and if these perceptions differ according to age, martial status, income, education status and working places. The research has been carried out by instant screening model from general screening models. Data of the research has been acquired by literature screening and taking scale method.In gathering data,”Women’s Rights-Kadın Hakları (KH)” consisting of 2 sections developed (0.876) by the researcher Çeviker Ay. By calculatıng Standard and arithmetical deviation of the answers given to the items in the scale about individuals’ perception about women’s rights, comments belonging the first subgoal have been given place. The item options of the scale have been pointed according to Likert type scale.To determine if there is difference between averages aimed to individual characteristics, bidirectional analysis of variance (ANOVA) has been carried out for free samples. According to the result of the research, at home and work, women can finitely use their rights and independence under men’s and their families’ control and confirmation. Women could not decide on their own even in their careers and they have inequalities at work due to their gender. It is necessary for the society to be educated on the results of the issues about women rights.
