Summary/Abstract: Hotel animations being organised in various corners of the world play a greater and greater role both in life of tourists and hoteliers or tourist operators. Therefore, an aim of considerations is to present the new ways of creating the image of the very service. The article is a theoretical study. The authors used the method of analysis of documents in the form of travel agencies’ catalogues. They are the tool used in the course of sale transaction as well as they are an integral part of the contract of tourist services provision between the tour operator and the potential tourist. Hotel animations are assigned merits in the area of organisation of leisure of hotel guests and care of the active rest. It is, on the one hand, aimed at health education and formation of the need for active rest, while, on the other hand, it leads to an increase of the number of tourists in the resort being visited; going further, it becomes an opportunity of development of the selected destination. The new image of animation being created by tour operators becomes a magnet attracting crowds of clients. The image of this activity is often enriched by mascots specific for definite travel agencies. The comprehensive information on the animation being organised in the catalogues is a working tool of travel agencies workers and, at the same time, assurance of a definite level of service quality.
