Summary/Abstract: In this essay, the firman of Russian general Grigori Potemkin, of which original copy is in Bahçesaray, on the Annection of Crimea, which was declared by him on a Friday prayer, on October 17th 1783, and which was written in Otoman Turkish, was examined. The author gives a transcription of the text and makes a historical evaluation.
