Summary/Abstract: Motivation is one of the most important assumptions effectiveness and achievement of the stated goals of both individuals and entire organizations. Job satisfaction is one of the most important factors of motivation. The aim of our study is to determine the satisfaction scores of professors from different factors of motivation in a number of secondary schools in Serbia, which significantly contribute to workplace motivation. The study was conducted on a sample of 183 secondary school teachers in Serbia and results has shown that most teachers motivate praise, respect and fellow directors, additional training and professional development. The above speaks in favor of the already established understanding that motivation has two sides: the tangible and intangible, and creativity of managers in the choice of strategy depends on motivation and job satisfaction of their employees.
