Summary/Abstract: Migration of Turks to the Crimean Peninsula began in the Hunnic age. After the Mongolic invasion, importance of the Peninsula increased; Turkic groups started to move southward, and changed their lifestyle from nomadism to sedentarism. Both that the Crimea was of strategically important for the Golden Horde, and that it be-came focal point in the internal strives paved the way for the making of State tradition.
