Innovative Activities in the Cluster Structures in the Light of Research Findings

Summary/Abstract: An aim of the article is to bring closer the perception of clusters by enterprises being their participants and innovative measures being introduced in 2007-2012. In the article, which has the research nature, the author presented some findings of the research carried out for the purposes of the project Innovativeness of network organisations in the knowledge-based economy financed in the years 2011-2013 by means of the National Science Centre. The research findings show that there are perceived advantages of the clusters, but there are also indicated possible threats. In her article, the author paid a particular attention to the factors facilitating and constraining innovative activity of enterprises and clusters, the type of implemented innovations and sources thereof.
