Summary/Abstract: Using Principal Component Analysis For A Sample Of 263 Municipalities, The Aim Of This Paper Is To Use A Multidimensional Poverty Approach And Build A Composite Index Of Well-Being That Pinpoint The Pockets Of Poverty In Tunisia, The Regional Disparities And Disparities Between Cities And Their Peripheries. A Deep Analysis Of This Problem Shows That There Is A Close Relation Between Poverty, Economic And Geographic Exclusion. Poverty Is Attributed To Unemployment, Dysfunction Of Labor Market, Unequal Public Expenditures In Infrastructure, Etc.
