Summary/Abstract: The social perspective on vocational school mission reinforces the idea that this is a community of learning and professionalization; an institution must identify and generate new trends on developments in science, technology, economy, culture in creating an effective education. This paper aims to study the role and place of students in the (re)construction of the Romanian vocational school. In doing so, we started from the following questions: What Is the Focus of students’ solutions? The basic "Product" of vocational school, the graduate, will always wear a "seal", a "mark" of the school and the profile, it will be a reflection of the mission undertaken by the school, of the vision and values promoted by it; can these graduates be absorbed into the labor market? Thus, we investigated students' perceptions of 12th graders on the social mission of vocational schools in the Romanian education system. As a matter of analysis of this paper, Romanian vocational education is a very vast field that can be caught through a comprehensive approach. Through an assessment of the available data I found some issues to be more meaningful and I identified some features that have an influence on the vocational labor market. Based on a questionnaire, I interviewed participants to gather their ideas.
