Summary/Abstract: Small and medium-sized enterprises, although make up more than 50% of Polish GrossDomestic Product and 2/3 of the jobs, face a significantly reduced ability to acquire capital fordevelopment. The question arises, what sources, in addition to equity and loans are availableto business owners of this size?It should be emphasized that after the privatization process completion, Warsaw StockExchange increasingly searches for new alternatives that ensure its further development.NewConnect has become an initiated phenomenon and known as well. What will be furtherdirection of development? Is Polish trader ready to cooperate with WSE?This article attempts to answer the question about estimated number of potential companiesthat match determinants posed by potential newcomers Stock Exchange. At the same timepoints to the scarcity and restricted access to data collected by Central Statistical Office andthe effective management of financial management of small and medium-sized enterprises.
