Spatial aspects of the development of market trade in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the article is identification of a spatial hierarchical structure of the network of bazaar trade by province. The structure was, at the same time, a basis for identification of homogenous groups of provinces. The chronological scope of surveys allowed for observation of the direction and intensity of changes in development of the bazaar trade over time. In his article, the author used the techniques of multivariate comparative analysis. Interesting seem to be the results of the use of factor analysis as a method of construction of a set of variables describing the level of development of the bazaar trade in spatial units. The received findings can be considered as reliable.
