Summary/Abstract: This article reviews Gandini (2016) and supplements it with theoretically based empirical research. Reputation is the configuration taken by social capital throughout a digitally mediated labor market where the likelihood of involving into direct interaction is greatly diminished. The governance of social connections throughout (non-)digital networked settings is maintained through the utilization of reputation as an asset with the influential goal of accessing resources, products, and returns.
