Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author analyses the fundamental elements of the criminal offense of terminating pregnancy, both in terms of the applicability of the European Court of Human Rights case-law and in the light of national case-law and law articles, and proposes some solutions to controversial or unclear problems, as well as some amendments to the law which criminalises this conduct.
