Summary/Abstract: The reform of schooling in Yugoslavia, which began systematically in 1958, continued in 1962 with the further modernization of instruction and its adjustment to the country’s general social development and the requirements of citizens. A large number of internal changes in instruction were carried out and it was made possible for an increasing number of people to work and study at the same time.
