Summary/Abstract: Transit traffic is regulated by international conventions on the freedom of transit and transit trade of land-locked countries, to which Yugoslavia is a signatory. These conventions ensure unhindered and fast transport of goods in transit over the territories of other countries, guarantee the safety of such goods and thereby contribute to the smooth flow of international trade.
