Summary/Abstract: This study has the following title: Reflections on the legal consequences of the Romania’s accession to the European Union on the regulation of the principles of equality between citizens and equality in rights – selective aspects. Following an outline Key - the following parts of the study are analysed successively, as follows: 1. Preamble. 2. Identification of constitutional rules on the principles of equality between citizens and equality of rights in the Romanian Constitution of 1991 and 2003. 3. Identification of regulations on the principles of equality between citizens and equality of rights in the European System for the Protection of Human Rights. 4. Highlights on Romanian doctrinal on the principles of equality between citizens and equality of rights. 5. Highlights on jurisprudential law regarding the principles of equality between citizens and equality of rights in decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Romania. – selective aspects. 6.
